Photographs of buildings, street scenes, and landscapes and still lifes of menu offerings from Cambridge's best restaurants are arranged with an eye for the play of color and light. Augmenting the visual feast are recipes shared by the gifted chefs who have established these restaurants' reputations. Chapters are arranged according to season, illustrated in the Cambridge volume by Galen Saturley's richly detailed photographs. Visually harmonious, this latest in the Portrait of a Restaurant series also demonstrates, with the number and variety of its recipes, the diversity to be found within Cambridge's restaurant scene.

Included in this volume are recipes from: Casablanca, Chez Henri, Craigie Street Bistrot, Finale, Green Street, Harvest, L.A. Burdick, OM Restaurant, Rialto, Salts Restaurant, Sandrine's Bistro, T.W. Foods, Temple Bar, The Blue Room, The Elephant Walk, and Upstairs on the Square.

Galen Saturley was born in Oregon and raised in Iowa, Saturley began his photographic career at age twelve, inspired by the natural beauty he saw while traveling in the Pacific Northwest. After experimenting briefly with filmmaking as a student, he turned to still photography as his fulltime pursuit. Drawn then to the Atlantic Coast, he moved to New England in 2002, where he became involved with Blue Tree, LLC. Saturley's tight compositions, shot primarily with a square-format Hasselblad, yield iconic images. When he's not traveling, Saturley makes his home in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
